Environment

Most factories add it later. This one was built around it

USGBC LEED Gold certified. Rainwater is harvested, effluent is treated before it returns to nature and the boiler burns the factory's own garment waste.

The measures

Eight systems, from the roof to the boiler, doing the work the building was designed around.

Rainwater

A natural water management system recycles and reuses both rainwater and surface water.

Effluent Treatment Plant

Effluent is cleansed chemically and biologically, then returned to nature safely.

Boiler

The factory burns its own garment waste to raise steam for finishing and ironing.

Daylight

Building orientation and glazing put daylight to work before electricity does.

Temperature

Floors are held under 30°C, with energy efficient and noise free machines throughout.

Waste

Solid waste and wastewater are separated and managed across the whole operation.

Gardens

The building is surrounded by greenery and fountains. Workers walk in the garden during breaks.

Walking distance

Most workers reach the factory on foot, which lifts the local economy with it.
